Undergraduate Program Coordinator and Advisor

Mishaal manages the Middle East / South Asia Studies undergraduate program and serves as the primary academic advisor. She also supports events within MENASA Student Resources on behalf of the ME/SA program. Learn more about Mishaal here.

Drop-in appointments are appropriate for: quick questions about class offerings and planning classes, discussing minors, discussing how to get involved in the program through research, discussing campus resources picking up or dropping off forms

Scheduled appointments should be reserved for: discussing in-depth academic planning (including creating an academic plan by the Dean's office), declaring a double major, discussing post-grad opportunities (i.e. graduate school, career exploration, etc.)

The most up-to-date major and minor planning sheets are available at the Anthropology, ME/SA, and Sociology Advising Center located in 1282 Social Sciences and Humanities Building.
