Description
Touraj Daryaee is the Howard Baskerville Professor in the History of Iran and the Persianate World and Associate Director, Dr. Samuel M. Jordan Center for Persian Studies and Culture University of California, Irvine.
The lecture is titled Pahlavi Texts, Artifacts and Persian Culture in Late Antique Iran. There will be a reception at 6 pm, followed by the lecture at 7 pm on November 9th.
Sponsorship: This lecture is the second in a three-year Lecture Series in Iranian Studies made possible through generous donations by Bijan and Forozan Bijan, Masud and Tahereh Monfared, Javad and Shirin Rahimian. The series launches the development of Iranian Studies within the Middle East/South Asia Studies Program.
